Abstract:
This paper discusses the deposition of protein precursors and other substances in the vacuole that constitutes an endoplasmic reticulum (ER) to vacuole trafficking pathway. The regulation of ER by development and other factors, and the transfer of ER and ER bodies to the vacuole by autophagy are also discussed.
