Abstract:
The intent of the study was to determine the types of strategies underserved communities employed to improve the availability of quality food at reasonable prices. Information was obtained through an extensive review of the literature and a survey of individuals with some expertise in food access. The report provides a review of access strategies employed by communities across the country. The appendices contain the supporting documentation for the final report.
